David, I was thinking we could just post pictures of anybody, heck no one will know till the rally. We could use Photo Shop and really have some great pictures. Since we are making up the pictures we can make up some really great stories to go with. Much better than if we were just making up stories.

Just checked out the updated front page for pictures and write ups. I am thinking that maybe I can do the write ups for each of you that have not yet sent in pictures and a a little write up for David G to post. I think we have pictures of most of you that have signed up so far and I bet David G and I can come up with some great stories. Of course you could always do it yourselves and probably save your reputations. I am working on a couple of ou right now. HEHEHE

Our next volunteers to provide entertainment on Saturday night after the pot luck is Fishinghat, Bob and Pam. I want to thank them for volunteering. David G. please add them to the front page.
Would those of you who have volunteered like to know what you are going to be doing?
We need to talk about the rally a bit here and there so new lurkers will see that we really do have a rally besides just all of our talking back and forth. Tizi we are waiting to hear from you.
Just got back from Port Townsend and the Kinetic Races they were a kick.
Ryegal, have you heard back from the park and are they going to have any problems if the Bartenders set up? My thought has been that we can set up a canopy for them to work out of, out of sight, out of mind. I know at leas three of our members from our area have the canopys and at least one has one with the side covers on it.

Port Townsend is cold and its a blowing here today. Its going to be something at 1PM when they have to put the Kinetics into the water. We saw some last night and you have to wonder. One rig is all the way up here from California.

NO NO NO, I am not going to play strip poker with HOBO, I have not had my shot card updated in years, who knows what diseases he may be carrying around after being on the earth for so many years. I will give him his money back so he can go south, I do not want Holly being unhappy, such a nice lady.
Whoopee, its off to Port Townsend and the Kinetic Races. Three days without four grandkids slowing driving me over the edge.

John, Nikki, you must be in the cool area right now up there. I talked to a friend yesterday down in Yuma and she said it was 105 the other day out in the Foothills where we are at. Glad to know you have found a park and will be getting settled in. Its raining outside most of the day and I am already thinking Jan.1 is too late to be leaving.
I thought I was going to be going down to Jacksonvill, Fla to oversee some ship building problems for pipefitters and testing at a small private shipyard but the economy has caused them to pull back the offer for now. Oh well, we would much rather be in Yuma for the winter anyway.

Time for another grankids and daughter break. Headed up to Port Townsend on Friday for the Kinetic Races . We will be parked at Point Hudson,if any of you get up there stop and say hi. Think you best be looking for your rain gear too, summer is over.

Took the 63 Olds convert out on Sunday and had a nice drive and probaby about the last of the year as I will be putting it away for the winter soon. The 64 Batmobile will probably stay on the road for another month and then it will get put away. I never put the top up on the Bat as it just looks too good with he top down and that fiberglass tonneau on the back. Now the bike I will ride until the ice hits the road. Welded in the new floorboards and quarter panels on the jeep last week and its looking better and better that I will be towing it to Yuma and a good paint job in Mexico.
Not many new people for the rally yet. Hope some of our lurkers get signed up and come on over. We may need to recuit some new dancers this year. ONLY a couple days until we announce our newest volunteers for the Saturday night entertainment.

Marty, the gathering at PT is Bigdogs show and I believe he cannot make the reservations there until January. He will see this so pretty sure he will answer up. If not I will drag him to coffee and throw a calander down in front of him...Bob

Beavers did very well, have to give them credit. I like it anytime USC takes a beating. The Dogs will rise again and I have to think that the Kittens will too, our day is coming. SOMEDAY

Tom, is that the one in Yuma? I know there are about 10 in Az with that name. If so we are close to each other. I am 3 blocks due west of the Foothills grocery on 38th.

They do make a snap in screen now that you do not have to unscrew. I think I bought mine in Quartzite last year for $7 or so. You remove the old screen and just snap in the new one, NICE. Never have figured out how to clean the fan blades and outer ring. I just get up there with cleaner and a rag and have at it.

Unless the Dogs run the schedule the rest of the way or get at least seven wins it is curtains for Willingham. Good man but does not seem to have what the Dogs need. I see them bringing is some high profile guy not matter what it costs.
Tom are you staying up in the valley again this year? I think that is what you said.

This "young couple" will leave for Yuma between Dec. 26th and January 1st. We never leave until we have done Christmas with all our kids. Mommy has her rules and that is number 1, we always spend Christmas with the kids and grandkids. A lot of our friends leave mid October when it has cooled down in the Yuma area.
